Hammonds Plains

Building in Hammonds Plains

Hammonds Plains includes long-established communities and larger subdivisions such as Kingswood, Glen Arbour, Highland Park, Voyageur Lakes and Upper Hammonds Plains.

The neighbourhood can change the starting point. A project on a larger treed lot may need more attention to grading, drainage, access and private services, while a home in a newer subdivision can come with different lot controls and existing building standards.

Those conditions should be confirmed first so the design suits the property rather than forcing a standard plan onto it.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jeff and Luke were exceptional to work with and made our backyard suite build come to fruition without stress. The layout they came up with was genius and made the best use of the small space. The quality of the build was great and overall we were pleased that the timeline and budget was close to what we had initially discussed (with some variation as to be expected with any construction). I would not hesitate to reach out to Habermehl again for a future project or to recommend them to friends/family/clients.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had Habermehl build my bathroom pretty much from scratch. They ordered the shower I wanted and worked with the contractors I had already enlisted to do the vanity and tiling. The project manager kept me informed sometimes every day and definitely on Fridays to give me a schedule of what was to happen the next week. Super people - thorough and attentive to details. I’d definitely recommend them 100% !

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had our kitchen and living room access remodeled by Habermehl and could not be happier with the final product. We had a great project manager who managed to get us set before Christmas on a tight timeline. Their on site workers were all fabulous and their sub contractors were too. Id trust them again in a heartbeat.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We did an extensive renovation with Habermehl in 2025. We added a renovation, did structural work, and mostly gutted the interior. We were really happy with the design process through Habermehl. The Habermehl crew were excellent to work with throughout the project. We were happy with the end-product! I would recommend Habermehl.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We partnered with the Habermehl team on a major renovation for our business, Crossroads Counselling & Psychological Services. The project involved transforming a 2,000 sq. ft. former school building — originally three large classrooms — into a nine-office mental health facility.

Habermehl provided thoughtful and practical guidance throughout the process, including expert recommendations on soundproofing to ensure the highest level of confidentiality for our clients.

I truly appreciated that I could count on the Habermehl team to listen, collaborate, and consistently do the right thing. Their project team and reliable network of trades helped us complete the renovation on time and on budget.

The result is a welcoming, purpose-built space that allows us to serve our clients in an environment that feels safe, comfortable, and supportive of their mental health.
